I have an approved US H1-B visa, however, it is still not stamped. I have filed it since Feb 2015. It will expire in November 2016. What should be possible if it expires?

I am not a lawyer but I have been almost in this situation. If you have your approved i797 pettition it is valid for 6 years from the day you step in US. But incase you have not stepped in US and your pettition is expiring the company holding H1 can file extension or any sponsor can apply on the original approval. You need not go through another lottery
